A charming vintage British royal commemorative stick pin dating to the coronation era of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937. This finely made silver pin features a vivid translucent red enamel outer ring bearing the patriotic motto FOR GOD AND THE EMPIRE, surrounding the crowned double bust of the royal couple.
The reverse carries silver hallmarks, confirming the piece as silver rather than base metal, and it retains its original point protector cap. Compact and elegant, this lapel or tie pin is an attractive piece of royal memorabilia, ideal for collectors of British Empire items, coronation souvenirs, sterling silver jewellery and historical badges.
Its small size makes it perfect for display in a badge cabinet, on a lapel, scarf or tie, while the striking red enamel gives it excellent visual appeal.
Condition - Good vintage condition
The red enamel remains bright with minor age-related wear. Silver reverse with visible hallmarks. Original pin protector cap present.
