1937 Wurttemberg Mantel Clock

This clock, a WURTTEMBERG CLOCK ( serial No 7196 R ) was presented to a Mr H.C Avent on his retirement on the 31th of December 1937. It is in a perfect working condition. I am not aware if this clock was ever sent in for repairs. It keeps time and loses about one minute per month., but it can be adjusted on the pendulum swing. I am not to sure what wood was use, but i think it is walnut. The clock chimes both Whittington and Westminster, and chimes every 15 min. A silver plate was place on the face of the clock by Randles Bro & Hudson gold & silversmiths Durban which display Mr Avent's retirement details.
