1940's 'British Overseas Airways Corp' Enamel Badge (Numbered)

This scarce, good quality, 1940's brass and enamel (red, blue & white) numbered badge from the 'British Overseas Airways Corporation' (B.O.A.C.) features their gilt 'Speedbird' logo across the centre. It's in excellent condition with a strong pin and numbered '3946' on the back, as well as stamped by the makers 'THOMAS FATTORINI in BIRMINGHAM'. It measures 31mm in diameter.
