1946 Coleman Lantern Canada - Model 249 "Scout" - Kerosene Lamp 

This model is stamped A / 46 (Jan-Mar 1946) and has the lighting instructions stamped in the collar in 3 languages. This lantern, has the brass fount finished in light green paint due to a lack of nickel at the end of WWII.

The BRASS LANTERN is overall in good collectible condition and appears complete (unverified) except for the pre-heater cup that is missing. There is the usual ageing, wear and tear and tarnishing, with nicks and surface rust to the enamel ventilator. The base rest / collar is slightly off-center. This item is sold here as is and untested. It will need a service and new seals.
