North Transvaal won the Currie Cup for the 1st time in 1946, as handwritten by Hannes Brewis at the top "Ons wen die Curriebeker die eerste keer N-Tvl 11 W.P 9" , the entire piece is diligently handwritten by Hannes Brewis, carefully noting the Scorers of both teams on either side, as well as the names of the full N. Transvaal Squad. Piece is also hand signed by Fonnie Du Toit on the photo. Hannes Brewis also writes at the bottom "Louis Twee ure na die Wedstryd is ek en Priscilla getround in die N.G Kerk Bronberg deur Ds H.DA Du Toit. Piece measures 45cm x 42cm
