1948 Coleman Lantern Canada - Model 249 "Scout" - Kerosene Lamp stamped 3 / 48
This model is stamped 3 / 48 (Mar 1948) and has the lighting instructions stamped in the collar in 3 languages. This lantern has a nickel fount and light green ventilator.
Overall in good collectible condition and appears complete. Comes with kidney shaped pre-heater cup. There is the usual ageing, wear and tear and tarnishing, with very light nicks and surface rust to the enamel ventilator. Filler cap has been repaired. There is surface rust to the base of the fount as seen in last picture below. This item is sold here as is and untested.
