1950 AUSTRIAN " PETIT POINT " EVENING OR THEATER EMBROIDERY CLUTCH, FLOWER MOTIF, BLACK BACKGROUND

GORGEOUS 1940's VINTAGE PETIT POINT EVENING OR THEATRE CLUTCH

This vintage bag is really cute and in very good condition. It is a 1950's design from Austria embroidered with a colorful flower motif on black fabric background.This type of embroidery was very popular for evening handbags in Europe in the 1940 and 1950's. If you collect handbags this is a lovely item to add to your treasures. Please note that there is wear to the corners of the bag where the black fabric has rubbed off and there are tiny holes. Please look at the pictures.  

It is lined with dark red satin/taffeta fabric inside and has 1 small inside compartment for a mirror and other necessities.The frame is in very good condition and it closes well. There is minor wear to the silver toned metal frame and clip. The inside is clean and neat and there are no visible stains. This is also a lovely vintage to collect and display.

Width 20 cm x heigth 10 cm.  

The Condition is as in the picture:  very good.
