Stratton began assembling compacts in 1923 from premises in Birmingham. By 1930 Stratton manufactured compacts producing 50 per cent of all compacts made in the UK. The company closed in 1997.
The Stratton name became synonymous with quality and their compacts are still prized today.

-A vintage Stratton lipstick and powder compact from Stratton's luxury ranges.
-The top is a beautiful shiny brown mottled design within a gold case.
-Lovely engine turning to the base and to the inner powder door. The engine turning on the underside is know as the 'feathers' design which Stratton reserved for their luxury ranges.
-This is a loose powder combination compact also featuring a lipstick which pops up when the compact is opened.
