The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION - Haversack satchel portion is present and intact . Haversack remains in a Good State and has been thoroughly utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. An EXCELLENT of a 1950s British Army Officer's Private-Purchase Haversack. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with material satchel intact and retention Sling complete. All stitching appears present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Leather has been subject to age-related wear- NOTE : ONE RETENTION BUCKLE HAS EXPIRED DUE TO AGE .

Material will display age appropriate markings/ stains due to usage. Haversack lining is present with manufacturer's label. A piece such as this would have been utilised by Officer's during the mid-1950s to early 1960s as a private purchase alternative.
