The lighter appears never to have been used, the wick is unburned. The switch action is firm and strong. The container to hold the fuel is cylindrical and slides out the bottom - the wick is on top of the cylinder. The bottom piece of the cylinder then slides off to reveal the fuel container. There are some markings on the engraved sides.
