1950's Ladies Traveling Jewelery Case

On offer this lovely and rare find - a 1950's Ladies traveling Jewelery case with removable drawer. It is covered in faux leather and lined in a velvet type material. It measures 20x15x6cm when closed. This item was purchased on auction, ex-stock of a very well known Antique Shop situated on the wharf of Durban, that was run for generations by the family, but sadly had to close doors recently due to the ill health of it's owner. Included in the photos is the tag from the shop.

Spots of letter wax on the inside of the lid, the key to lock the case is missing, the back corners of the lid pulling away ever so slightly, other than that, in fine condition for an item this old.

Wonderful find, not often seen!!!
