This is a vintage 10 Cents coin from East Africa, dated 1952, issued during the reign of King George VI. This colonial-era coin features:

  • 🔹 Obverse (Front): Crowned monogram of King George VI with the Latin inscription "GEORGIVS SEXTVS REX" and the denomination "TEN CENTS" below.

  • 🔹 Reverse (Back): The inscription "EAST AFRICA" encircles the top with a central denomination "10", stylized tusk design, and the date 1952 below.

  • 🔹 Material: Bronze

  • 🔹 Weight: Approx. 5.7g

  • 🔹 Diameter: 26 mm

  • 🔹 Minted for: Use in British colonies in East Africa including Kenya, Uganda, Tanganyika (Tanzania), and Zanzibar.
