1953 4d Cape Centenary UMM Strip of 12 Incl. "Broken Knee" (SACC 148a) & Plate Flaws
A superb specialist strip of 12 (2x6) of the 1953 Cape of Good Hope Centenary 4d issue. This piece is a "variety hunter's" dream, featuring the major catalogued variety alongside several interesting plate flaws.
Condition: Unmounted Mint (UMM / MNH). Original gum, very fresh.
Note on Perforations: Please note there is a partial separation (loose perfs) between stamps 3 and 4 on the top row, but the strip remains intact.
Major Variety: Includes a clear example of the "Broken Knee" (SACC 148a) variety on the 4th stamp of the bottom row.

"Dot between H and A" in South Africa.
White flaw on the '3' of 1953.
Various minor ink spots and frame nicks as indicated in the photos.
