   The obverse features the young crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II REGINA, while the reverse depicts the elegant Britannia-like female figure standing with an anchor, symbolising maritime strength and prosperity.
This was among the early South African issues under Queen Elizabeth II before the Republic period, struck in .500 silver making it a collectible both for its silver content and its historical significance.
