Note to the buyer
Based on the high-resolution photos, here is my assessment of the condition and grading which is subjective and this is my opinion and based on my visual evidence Please note that "grading" was not done by any professional organisation or person but solely by my references to catalogues and other information. While I strive for accuracy, I cannot guarantee that all details and information are 100% correct.
Purchase decisions are made entirely at the buyers discretion.
Reverse (Max Planck Side):
The portrait shows significant detail, including his spectacles and hair texture. However, there is a heavy accumulation of "bag marks" (small nicks and scratches) across the field and on the face. The rim is mostly intact with minor softening.
Obverse (Eagle Side):
The eagle's breast feathers show considerable wear and have flattened out, which is common for circulated specimens. The lettering and the "D" mint mark are still very clear, but the overall surface shows heavy circulation marks similar to the reverse.
Authenticity:
I guarantee this coin to be authentic.
