Grade Description
Obverse:
The features of standing Helvetia are clearly defined.
There is minor flatness/wear visible on the high focal points of her dress folds, her chest, and the face of the shield.
The surrounding 22 stars and the crispness of the underlying text "HELVETIA" are perfectly legible with solid, sharp borders.
Reverse:
The oak and alpine rose wreath displays clean definition. Individual leaf veins show only minor smoothing.
The denomination ½ and the date "1962" stand out boldly with minimal flattening.
The "B" mint mark (for the Bern Mint) at the bottom is perfectly clear.
This coin is minted in 83.5% silver with a total weight of 2.5 grams (giving it an actual silver content of roughly 2.08 grams).
