A collectible British 5 Pence coin dated 1968, the very first year these coins were issued as part of the UK's decimal currency transition. It features the crowned thistle, the national flower of Scotland, on one side and a crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the other (although your image shows the reverse only). This coin is a great piece of decimalisation history.
