1977 Great Britain Silver Jubilee Crown Queen Elizabeth II (KM#920)
Issued in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, this attractive British Crown celebrates the twenty-fifth anniversary of Her Majesty's accession to the throne. The coin formed part of the nationwide celebrations marking a quarter-century of service by Britain's longest-reigning monarch at the time.
The obverse features an elegant equestrian portrait of Queen Elizabeth II riding side-saddle during the Trooping the Colour ceremony, surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II D.G. REG F.D. 1977". The reverse displays the Ampulla and Coronation Spoon, historic regalia used during British coronation ceremonies, beneath the Royal Crown and surrounded by an ornate floral design representing the nations of the United Kingdom.
Struck in copper-nickel by the Royal Mint, this large commemorative Crown is a popular addition to collections of British, Commonwealth and world coins. Its distinctive design, historical significance and connection to the Silver Jubilee celebrations make it one of the most recognisable modern British commemorative issues.
A well-preserved example with attractive detail and strong eye appeal, ideal for both beginning and advanced collectors of British coinage.

Light to moderate handling and circulation marks are present on both sides, with all major design elements remaining sharp and clearly defined. Legends, date and decorative details are fully visible. An attractive collector-grade example with pleasing overall appearance.
