A 1977 full set of 49 x stamps made with 23 karat yellow gold and 12 karat white gold overlays depicting the kings and queens in British history.
They are housed inside a two volume boxed hard carton set (slip case), named the "Kings and Queens of Great Britain". Every stamp weighs roughly 0.5 grams. Please note: Each gold stamp is almost as thin as paper, mounted on thin paper and protected in it's own plastic sleeve. The stamps are made of 23ct yellow gold and plated with 12ct white gold (as per manufacturer photo description). Stamps are in mint condition. Due to these gold stamps being so thin, I cannot put any monetary value on the gold content. A nice and full collectable set.
