An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SADF Ratel AFV Padded Helmet Liners with Chin Strap.  These pieces appear to be in a GOOD, USED state , with material intact displaying appropriate surface wear. The original cushion pads are present in the liner construction. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. **Note : Items were exposed to combat conditions.

These Padded liners would have been used with the AFV Ballistic Helmet shell during the Conflict in SWA/ Angola.
