1982 South African Gold Coin Exchange (SAGCE) Certified Krugerrand Proof Set

This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a complete four-coin fractional Krugerrand Proof Set, uniquely certified and sealed by the historic South African Gold Coin Exchange (SAGCE). 

The first fractional Krugerrand coinsspecifically the 1/2 Oz, 1/4 Oz, and 1/10 Oz denominationswere produced in 1980. Making this set a early edition in the series of fractional sets minted.

Set Details:

• Coins Included: The set contains the full range of fractional gold Krugerrands available at the time of issue: 1 Oz, 1/2 Oz, 1/4 Oz, and 1/10 Oz of 22ct Gold coins. All of them with very high grading. The four coins combined contain exactly 1.85 Oz of fine gold.
• Certification: Each coin is individually encapsulated in its original, sealed SAGCE holder.
• Grading: Each coin has been assigned a very high Point Value from SAGCE at 104 points for the full and half Krugerrands specifically. The highest grading possible being 111.
• Year: 1982  

Condition:

The coins are sealed in their original holders and retain their original bright and shiny, mirror-like finish. The condition is as graded by the SAGCE with a 104 Point Value (Choice Brilliant Proof). The presentation case shows some signs of wear consistent with its vintage nature, as seen in the images.
