 the owner of these coins bought them directly from the mint, he then took them from their cases and placed them in non acidic papyrus paper into an envelope made of non acidic paper and covered them in melted beeswax this was to ensure the coins stayed in the best possible condition. the reason for this... as i am told by him is that at the point in time when he started to collect the coins the materials used to make the boxes and the linings and even the paper used was acidic so he decided that he would keep them the best way he could so that one day he could sell them as the best coins around.
