Obverse:	Bareheaded busts of Joubert (left) and Prinsloo (right) both with beards. Joubert turned slightly to the right, Prinsloo front. In an arc under the busts: GENERAAL.F.JOUBERT KOMMANDANT.S.PRINSLOO. Legend above: TER HERDENKING, and below: 18861986.
Reverse:	Simple church with spire, fence in front, clouds above. Signed: TW below the fence. Legend: WITFONTEIN ARK VAN DIE NED. HERV. KERK. Small cross at the foot.
Notes:	From 1860 there were three different church groupings of Afrikaner Calvinism in the Transvaal. One of these was the Nederduitsch Hervormde Kerk whose church was on the the farm Witfontein near Bronkhorstspruit. This medal commemorates a meeting of the congregation on 13 February 1886 at which the members decided to retain their independence and not to unite with the other
