Front side inscribed 'Bicentenary 1787-1987' with the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) emblem in the centre. Reverse features a profile of Thomas Lord at the top, with his name written around it, 2 batsmen in the centre, the left an 18th century batsman holding his bat up in preparation for a shot, wearing a top hat, the right a 20th century batsman with his bat over his shoulder in pads in front of a wicket. The Lord's pavilion is seen behind. '1787-1987' written below.
