Minted in 1994 to commemorate the Presidential Inauguration of president Nelson Mandela. Held at the Union Building on 10 May 1994. This coin commemorates the first president of the African Nation Congress (ANC) becoming president of South Africa, but more importantly being the first black president of the Republic of South Africa. 

This coin has been considered as a must for any collector or investor.
