This set includes the 1994 Bank of England Tercentenary £2 coin, celebrating 300 years since the Banks foundation in 1694. This is an old-style single-metal Two Pound, issued before bimetallic £2 coins were introduced. Also included is a large-sized 1994 D-Day 50p, and a 1994 Lion Rampant £1, as well a 1994 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p coin featuring the standard definitive designs for this year. Each coin features a classic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, designed by Raphael Maklouf. These base metal coins boast a fine, brilliant uncirculated finish for a superior appearance. This collectable set comes in its original card wallet with built-in capsules, which protect the BU finish of the coins.
