19th century French double weight Comtoise clock with an enamel dial and ornate embossed brass case

19th century French double weight wall clock with an enamel dial and ornate embossed brass case, with original key. Clock has been neglected and is in need of service. Although the weights are missing, the movement appears to be intact - please examine the photographs. This interesting clock has a third string which when pulled caused the clock to chime the most recent hour, I believe. The clock and pendulum together measure approx 1.5 meters.

The dial is approx 225mm diameter.
