 This samovar is of Russian origin, specifically in the region of Tula. Samovars were used to boil water for tea in ancient  Russia and can be fuelled with charcoal, wood or pinecones. The design includes a central pipe for heating the water and a space on top to warm a teapot. The print(cyrillic) on the samovar translates to N.I BATASHEV which is the name of the manufacturer. The other stamp translates to ''1st grade'' which is said to be an indication of the metal quality.  It is a true statement item and its bound to attract attention and admiration and it is ideal for collectors, this samovar is more than just a decorative piece its a timeless heirloom. However one knob on the top lid is missing but you can still open it with ease. The metal may need a bit of elbow grease to make it more shiny. The dimensions for this piece are a height of 530mm and  340mm from handle to handle.
