Maker: Unknown, possibly English or French
Date: Estimated 1870 - 1900
History: No makers name but a very small number of brown spots could indicate that the plate was coal fired, placing the date at around the 1870- 1890 mark
Marks/Observations: The outlines of the patterns are transfer; the color is hand-painted. Decorated with a central design of pink flowers (possibly clover) and sprigs of other flowers around blue-green rim, with gilding The gilding remains in very good condition as does the overall decoration. This is a very pretty plate!!
Condition: Very good throughout.
