Grip made of black ebony .

Steel scabbard has dents and the nickle on the sword and scabbard it worn.

There are no markings on the sword but it was positively identified http://users.skynet.be/euro-swords/IT1873.htm

The photo shows a golden tinge but that is the camera- The whole sword and scabbard is a nickle colour.
