On offer is a proof marked 1st World War King George V Officers Sword Manufactured by Wilkinson Swords ("W" mark within the wings on the engraving stands for Wilkinson sword) Sold by Hawkes and Co Military Outfitters of Saville Row London. They were only the Uniform Outfitters and swords were made for them under contract by Wilkinson and others. The sword has not been cleaned.

Inside the hilt the plating has lifted to a large degree due to perspiration over the years of use but generally it is in good condition.

This sword should be posted counter to counter at a quoted cost to avoid damage.

I can however post it unsheathed at a cost of R 65.00.
