Application Note

These run well on 3.2V each thus 3 in series and a 15ohm resistor can be hooked up to a 12V battery system. Use a resistor with a high enough Watt rating, preferably 5W or better. Use a 1.5ohm -> 2ohm resistor if driving a single LED off a Lithium Ion battery of 3.7V. Take care not to overheat the LED.
