I have used this device myself.
It is said you can pick up the following channels:
SABC 1, SABC 2, SABC 3, SABC Movies, SABC Sports, SABC News International, ETV, ETV CLASSICs
I live in the Northern suburbs in Cape Town and have picked up up the following channels during September 2010:
Etv, Etv Africa, Mstar (Movies), National Geographic, Etv Classics, Koowe (Childrens Channel), MK (Music Channel)
Later on I could only pick up 2 channels, but currently here in Cape Town I can't pick up any channels, but in Durban and Gauteng I believe you do pick up some channels. I guess it depends where you live on which channels you will pick up.
When South Africa launches digital tv fully, this product will be in high demand. Buy or bid now when the demand is not that high, as a high demand means higher prices.
