Up for auction are 3 fairly rare South African Police items. 2 Old SAP Long Service Medals issued to woman. From left to right: The medal is named "NO 1720 (F) DET. CONSTABLE W.J. FOX.". Officially impressed. On the front is the SA Coat of Arms with the inscription "POLICE SERVICE" and "POLITIE DIENST". On the back "FOR FAITHFULL SERVICE" AND "VOOR TROUE DIENST". The medal is in EF condition and the detail is fine and crisp. Then a Long Service medal issued to "NO 4051 (F) DET/CONST K.A. REYNOLDS". On the front is the SA Coat of Arms and the inscription "POLICE SERVICE" and "POLIESIE DIENS". Note the Afrikaans spelling of "POLIESIE". On the back the inscription "FOR FAITHFULL SERVICE"  and "VIR GETROUE DIENS". This medal have some knocks on the back but is still in good condition. Then a big South African Police cap badge. Not sure but it must have been worn in the 1920's or early 1930's. Note the Afrikaans spelling on the bottom as "SUID-AFRIKAANSE POLIESIE". All lugs are intact.
