On offer another VALUABLE item on Auction N/R. Beautiful original Art by renowned South African artist Johan Manefeldt, the painting signed by the artist in the lower left corner. The watercolour paintings is mounted and framed behind glass. It measures 40 x 37 cm (with frame) and 22x18cm (painting only). Depicting one of his many subjects, Manefeldt has a phenomenal eye for simplifying and redesigning the beauty of nature. He has been painting professionally since 1972 and typically paints South African Scenes, landscapes, seascapes and wild life. He was born in Johannesburg and studied under well-known artist Wallace Hulley. Over the years he has held many private and public exhibitions and his works can be found in collections locally and abroad. He lived in the USA for 2 years where he won 3 Art Awards. Field Publication commissioned him to do a series of Calenders for the 1980's. In May 2006, he took part in an exhibition with 55 other artist and a total of R1 700 000.00 worth of paintings were sold - Manefeldt was the top seller at this event!

The paintings are in perfect condition and framed. (glass needs to be replaced)
