2 Large vintage carbide lamps for restoration - both for 1 bid. I would estimate that these old carbide lamps would date back to the 1940/50s. The first is iron with a lamp with a glass in the front. I would think that this lamp would have been used on the railway. It stands 26cm to the top of the handle, and is complete. It however has some rust (still solid), and needs to be cleaned accordingly. The glass has a crack. The second lamp has a shallow reflector in front, and would most probably have been used on the mines. It has been painted white, and has PL 390 stamped on the bottom tank. It stands 23cm high. The lamp seems complete, and is in fair condition. Bargain buy for the collector.
