Of Dutch Immigrant parents, David Kuijers was born near Johannesburg in 1962. He completed his schooling at the Pretoria School of Art, Music & Ballet with a distinction in graphic art and the Best Painter Award for 1980.  He spent a short period as a signwriter and then enrolled to study Graphic Design at Cape Technikon where he received the Top Student award upon graduating. He then freelanced as a designer/illustrator and in 1999 became a full-time artist.  Notable commissions include the President Hotel, the Radisson Hotel, the Da Vinci Hotel, Woolworths, Tiger Brand Foods, Medi Clinics and Dole.

This particular print (framed in glass) is a limited edition print no 19/70 and signed in pencil by David Kuijers, in excellent condition measuring  54cm x 54cm x 6cm with frame, print itself being 26cm x 26cm.   Refer images
