2 Small vintage aluminium SAR train plates for 1 bid. I am not sure where these 2 plates would have been displayed on the train, as they are small (17.5cm x 10.5cm). I think that the first plate came from a 15F locomotive numbered 2932, that would have been acquired c1939. I think that the second (EW 3281) came off a tender, possibly from the 15F locomotive 2932. The EW plate is in good condition, but the 15F plate has a chip out of the right side. However, still lovely display items for the collector.
