The GA-868 records 2-way telephone conversations AND can be used as an ordinary recorder (has built in mic).

It records conversation Automatically or Manually. Noiseless speech can be recorded with absolute discretion.

Can be setup to start recording telephone call, the moment you pick up the handset. Stops when you hang up. Also has a manual recording option - to record on a need basis.

The GA-868 has a monitor option to share/monitor a phone conversation.

This unit can also be used as a cassette player. Uses 60 or 90 minute audio cassette tapes for recording or playback.

Has an earphone socket for discrete listening.

The unit works off a 7.5v DC Adaptor (supplied) and also has battery compartment for backup power. (uses 4 "AA" 1.5v batteries - not supplied)

The GA-868 only has a connector for the phone line (TEL). You may need a splitter, to share your phone line between your phone instrument and this unit.
