The United States is honoring the Nation's presidents by issuing $1 circulating coins featuring their images in the order that they served. The USA Mint will mint and issue 4 Presidential $1 coins per year. A total of 38 Presidents will be honored from 2007 to 2016 Diameter : 26.5 mm Weight : 8.1 grams Condition : Uncirculated Mintmark : P (Phillidelphia Mint) or D (Denver Mint) Metal Content : 88.5% Copper, 6% Zink, 3.5% Manganese, 2% Nickel (Exactly the same as the "Golden Sacagawea Dollar" OBVERSE - The obverse has the portrait and the name and date in office of the particular president. REVERSE - The reverse features a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty and the inscriptions : United States of America and $1. The usual mottos: "E Pluribus Unum" and "In God We trust" as well as the date and mintmark were moved to the edge of the coin.
