What is PTC PROTECTION: Think of it as a limiter. When you overdrive your speakers, the PTC kicks in ,cutting off the signal to the tweeter. Once you lower your sound, the ptc resets and your tweeter is working again. Many other companies use fuses, but it's important to understand that a fuse is once off (protected but your signal is cut off now) but a ptc is a resettable fuse that just keeps on protecting you.
