The tokens were probably used between 1902 and 1906 when the 1st Battalion formed
part of the post South African War Army of Occupation, serving at:
1902-1903 Stellenbosch
1903-1904 Middleburg
1904-1906 Wynberg
These tokens ar usually very worn, so here is your chance to
get the 2 tokens in an extemely good condition. I would say "AU"
but please determin yourself!
