Catalogue Number
Condition	Vintage, circa 1945/1952. All round fair solid shape.
Notes	Setup for AC operation, most wheels are non insulated! All metal body and chassis. Metal wheels. Made in US Zone, which dates it ~1945 to 1952. Roofs are somewhat scuffed, acceptable for age. Green paint generally old and a bit faded and distressed. POSSIBLY... some light polishing may be able to restore, but be careful, heavy polish may destroy what is there. No buffers - are there supposed to be? One coach has a chip off corner of roof (see picture) and is shorting its inter carriage vestibule. Same slightly damaged coach is slightly heavier than the other, so possible roof was removed at some stage to add weight. NB: Most of the wheels appear to be uninsulated and thus not suitable for DC operation. PLEASE be careful, check and swap out if you are running a DC train.
Regarding price	Thanks to the ever depreciating value of the Rand these items are becoming harder to locate at a reasonable price. The cost to import is increasing almost daily. If you want it, buy it because next time around it may be twice the price.
