The Long Horn Chilli Pepper or Cow Horn as it is also referred to, is a hot pepper that makes an excellent salsa, and can be used in many dishes. These plants may be container grown, so anyone can grow them, even if you don't have room for a garden. It takes 90 days to reach maturity. The plant produces good yields of 20cm long sweet chilli peppers. The chilli peppers are very sweet and have excellent flavor! They turn from green to red when mature. This is one of the largest non-bell stuffing peppers around. Though they are sweet they rate 8000 on the Scoville heat scale.
