Polyxena corymbosa Seeds Polyxena corymbosa is one of five members of a dwarf genus of brightly coloured, bulbous geophytes, most closely related to the endemic southern African genus Lachenalia. It is a strongly scented, autumn and early winter- flowering plant and its diminutive size makes it highly recommended for cultivation in containers and window boxes in sunny positions. It attracts bees to the garden. P. corymbosa is not known to be used medicinally or culturally by the indigenous peoples of Western Cape.
