Early, round, smooth-skinned beets are exceptionally tender. Smooth round roots with short tops. This ring-less and deep red Ruby Queen Beets can very well and retains its color during processing. It takes 52 days to reach maturity. In mild summer climates they may be planted as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring and then right through the summer until about 2 months before the first autumn frost. In warmer climates they are sown in spring and autumn to mature in relatively cool seasons.
