Thomas Laxton is an old favorite bush variety English Pea. The foliage is typically variegated bronze and green. This variety does not yield as much as the newer varieties, but the flavor is excellent! Vines are typically 60cm to 90cm in length and the plant forms a medium-sized bush. Works well in small gardens. They are a cooler weather crop and should be started in early autumn or late spring for best production. They are vigorous growers, prefer full sun, and do well in smaller gardens or where space is limited. Plants will benefit from regular-strength application of a balanced fertilizer when planting. Ready to harvest in about 60 days.
