20 troy oz coin 999 Fine Silver Troyan

A huge Silver bullion Medal made in 1983 to Commemorate 300 Years of Mining in South Africa from the Johannesburg Gold and Hard Assets Exchange.  At the time of listing the value of the silver content is just short of R6,000.00. With silver's current surge, who knows where silver ends up.

Contains 20 Troy Ounces of Fine (99.9%) Silver.  Diameter 100.0 mm.  The coin weighes OVER 600 GRAMS!!!  Numbered 2826 on edge. A few rough spots mostly around the rim.  Probably these were there originally because it is difficult to make a medal of this size without imperfections.

Auction starts at R5000 with a R6000 reserve.

Due to the value and weight of the coin I am not going to trust the Post Office. So I am going to give you the option of choosing the courier company you trust and you must organize that they pick up the coin from me, organize insurance, and have them deliver it to you. All of this for your account. Of course, if you trust the Post Office, I will gladly send it Counter to Counter or Counter to Door for your account. Bidders in Cape Town can organize pick up.
