2007 50 Pence - 'The Tale Of Peter Rabbit'

This rare Collectable 50p coin from Great Britain was the first of four  Beatrix Potter  designs issued by  The Royal Mint  in 2017 and has become highly popular among collectors. The reverse, designed by Emma Noble, depicts Peter Rabbit running in his signature blue coat, accompanied by the inscription "THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT" around the edge.

Peter Rabbit is a beloved children's literature character created by Beatrix Potter. She first wrote @The tale of Peter Rabbit' in 1893, in the form of an illustrated letter to a friend's son. She later privately published it in 1902 before it was commercially released by 'Frederick Warne & Co', in 1902.
