2012 London olympic 5 crown coin gold plated silver (CRAZY SPECIAL)

The £5 Olympic Crown Coin has been issued in both silver and gold plated silver proof for both the Olympic Summer Games and the Paralympic Summer Games.  The Olympic Coin depicts the legendary London skyline with all the architectural icons of London in the centre. On the outside ring, the full colour Union Jack styled 2012 London Logo and Sports Pictograms are arranged like the hours on the face of a clock. This coin was designed by Saiman Miah, a 24 year who is currently studying for his Masters degree in architecture. A nationwide contest was held across Great Britain to find the best design, it was open to all art and design students.  This coin has been issued as a limited edition of just 12,500 presented in a complementary case.
